Trus'me Live In Manchester Mix

Trus'me Live In Manchester Mix

Here we have another exclusive, this time round it’s Manchester’s very own production prodigy that is Trus’me.

Trus’me has just released his highly acclaimed debut long-player ‘Working Nights‘ on the back of some of this year’s finest, hard to find 12″‘s that were released on the Love4Music black label. In addition to the 3 limited tracks that were previously available the album includes 5 additional, unreleased tracks of underground house, disco and soul.

We’ve been hammering these tracks for some time and if you’ve yet to pick up the album and like your dance music created from some of the rarest disco bombs and reconstructed into modern dancefloor dynamite then we can guarentee you won’t be dissapointed. Trus’me is definetly one to keep an eye out for in 2008.

This mix is taken from the Manchester album lauch (PN02) party, recorded live and direct on 10th December 2007, where Trus’me DJ’ed alongside no other than KDJ. Trus’me showcases his sound perfectly by effortlessly mixing quality underground disco, detroit house, soul and funk into a 2hr mix of the highest quality.

Special thanks to Tim Giles at Prime Numbers for kindly making this recording available.

Enjoy…

rock on with yo bad-self! i just picked up my copy of this a couple weeks ago and passed-up on the W.A.R. single on Stilove4Music. I think there are better tracks on this than W.A.R. and its on the album anyways, so whatever.

Big-ups to you guys for posting this and I can’t wait to listen to it!

Whats the house system like in The Northern ? I can’t imagine the likes of Juan Atkins playing out thru pub speakers ??

Stylus brought in a proper bo system and got shut down. Was like being at an illegal rave in a car park or summat…

I’ve not been in The Northern Mike but imagine the same.
The recording has a slight hum behind it but there’s a residents block next door (And behind) so no doubt if it got too bass-tastic you’d have a visit from the environmental health.

Yeah, The Northern is a pub. It would be fine for bar grooves, but I can’t imagine anything else happening but a visit from the council.

Too many of those and bang goes the licence. Fact.
