JAZ – Cosmic 101 Mix
After a great mix by fellow DJ Historian – Fabiofal, we are pleased to feature an excellent cosmic mix from the 2nd forumite – JAZ. Born in New York City the same month that Donna Summers I Feel Love” was released, JAZ spent the last two years in Oxford, now living in Pittsburgh, PA, where the record stores are huge and mostly untouched. JAZ loves vinyl, though not really that interested in music unless it was made between the magic years of [approx.] 1978 - 1983.
He’s recently gotten into the world of edit-making, which is a new passion and is currently in his third year of seminary.JAZ also posts under the name JAZ Chimney” on dreamchimney.com website and starting in January, will have his own show on Viva-Radio.comAs far as this mix is concerned, JAZ wanted to bring together a bunch of his favorite prog-y, non-synth-y Cosmic” standards, not many big surprises, just perfect songs, all from a similar vein, a slice of the canon.
The mix was even heard by all in the background of his wedding back in December. Risky!
JAZ says: “I Am grateful for the opportunity to share music with all of you!”
And then suddenly, right in the middle of a peach pie, JAZ…Enjoy!
