Glastonbury 2009 – Cosmic Disco
Back in June, Cosmic Disco joined The Guardian at Glastonbury 2009 where we showcased our sound within the intimate surroundings of The Guardian Lounge.
In it’s fifth year, the Lounge has a firmly established reputation for showcasing the newest and hottest talent at the Festival in a original and intimate setting.
Renowned Lounge sets in 2009 included Little Boots, Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Will Young, Crazy P, Horse Meat Disco, The Unabombers, Erol Alkan, The Maccabees, Richard Norris, Maccachu and The Shapes, Heartbreak and Tony Christie.
We managed to record our marathon session from Thursday 25th June where we were asked to officially open the lounge to the Glastonbury Masses.
