Cosmic Boogie Guest Mix
Categories: Music
Likeminded Liverpudlian collective Cosmic Boogie are a trinity of music obsessed aficionados who’s aim isn’t a million miles away from what we are doing 30 miles down the M62 in Manchester.
Comprised of Stu Robinson and Gavin Kendrick, the collective also includes the underground DJ luminary – Greg Wilson, resulting in a blog that features some tasty articles, feature reviews, resident and guest mixes in addition to the latest information on where you can find the guys playing records up and down the country.
This week’s offering features music programmed and mixed by Stu Robinson who says: ‘I decided that while a lot of cosmic disco is slower, more spaced out stuff, I wanted to make this mix more bouncy, leaning towards the more electro side of disco, aiming for the dance floor. With the amount of predominant bass-line tracks you can clearly see my drum ‘n’ bass roots as well as the influence of Greg Wilson, which I don’t suppose would ever be in doubt!’
Head over to the Cosmic Boogie site and hit up their RSS feed for up to the minute updates. In the meantime, click the links below to listen to a quality selection of disco and electro funk…
