BBE 2009

BBE kicked off the year with the release of 12″’s of Pleasure which featured great tracks from DJ Vadim, Roy Ayers, Aaron Jerome and many others and have continued to bring the finest quality Hip-hop, Reggae and House music to you since. Here’s a few selections of what they have been up to, and what is currently available for an amazing discount:

House/Dance

The ‘Nightdubbin” Triple CD of dubbed out classic house tracks from Dimitri From Paris mixed by the Idjut Boys that hit the street in May. Featuring new takes on old classics in a very new style for Dimitri is a must have collection. BBE also released a collection of reworkings by the master Pepe Bradock. His ‘Confiote de Bits’ album has been hailed as a classic, featuring remixes of almost mythical tracks from the past 10 years.

Hip Hop

Plenty for Hip Hop lovers in 2009. BBE saw the first release in many years from Funky DL with The Interview EP. The first release from Canada’s Party Hip-Hoppers, Notes To Self, featuring a finely balanced style between Hip-Hop, backed by rock style beats. And of course who could Forget DJ Vadim, constantly changing, constantly creating, Always Great! In what is one of the most eclectic Hip-Hop albums of the decade, Vadim shows all his talents in the creation of this masterpiece.

BBE also pulled off a major coup in the release of David Rodigan’s ‘Real Authentic Reggae Vol. 2′

And if that weren’t enough BBE also had time to release records from Henrik Schwarz, Ame and Dixon and Phantogram and there’s much more to come very soon.
