Neil Diablo – It’s A Long Way There

Neil Scott aka Neil Diablo is not only a very close friend of Cosmic Disco but he runs one of Manchester’s most established and credible underground club nights (El Diablo’s Social Club), is one of the cities best resident DJ’s and has has more recently moved into the world of music production.

For those that may not be aware, El Diablo’s Social Club has become a byword for ‘Meanin’ It’. With an open minded party vibe soaked in Cosmic, Disco, Balearic, Italo, House, Techno and anything else that may be designed for dancing. After initially detonating with secret, nefarious shindigs in unused warehouses, brothels and back rooms of sleazy boozers the boys have now settled as monthly residents at one of Manchester’s best live/club venues – The Deaf Institute.

Over the years, guest DJ’s have travelled from far and wide to play to the excitable EDSC crowd, including: Prins Thomas, Maurice Fulton, Daniel Wang, Andy Butler, Todd Terje, Rub ‘n’ Tug, Sean P, Greg Wilson, Danny Krivit, Jaques Renault, Kelvin Andrews, Padded Cell, DJ Spun, Phoreski, Mudd, Crazy P, Kathy Diamond and of course not forgetting your very own Cosmic Disco!

Not only have the guys been bringing their unique party vibe to Manchester but Neil has also taken the El Diablo’s sound to various cities across the UK and Europe in addition to playing at a number of festivals that include The Garden Festival, Snowbombing, Beachdown, Glastonbury, D-Percussion, Notting Hill and Futuresonic.
