Now, anyone who regularly listens to our podcasts, mixes or even has chance to hear us play out will no doubt know that we don’t restrict ourselves to just playing weird French disco or obscure tracks taken from foreign film soundtracks but we also have somewhat have a penchant for 80’s pop.
New Mancunian band Performance have just released their new single entitled ‘Reptile’ on the back of their sell out limited edition run of their self titled debut album are looking to release a brand new long player in April 2010.
‘Reptile’ captures the essence of 80’s synth-pop, reminiscent of Soft Cell and Visage with a frontman who not only looks like a young Gary Numan but has a voice that equals parts of Michael Hutchence, Marc Almond and Simon Le Bon.
