Darklord – Il Suono Scuro

Darklord – Il Suono Scuro

Are you feeling somewhat unnerved by the bout of good weather the UK basked in over the weekend?

If so, today’s mix is perfect for late nights, dark rooms and dreary days (It’ll be perfect come July/August then…). Originally mixed in October 2008 as a spooky, cosmic soundtrack for the Halloween period, the Darklord a.k.a Ryan Todd (With selection assistance from pal Shawn Ryan) is responsible for this great collection of dissonent sounds of the silver screen.

Featuring a few classics, a few unknowns an original and an edit this is somewhat more interesting than your usual holiday period jock-jams list. At least we think so…

This mix was originally featured on a Philadelphia blog (Dollar Bin Jams) who just so happen to be close friends of Ryan’s but it’s good enough for a re-issue any time of the year.

Also worth a shout is Megan Mitchell Design , responsible for the fantastic artwork.
