Bretton Bird – Agent Hypnosis
Posted on 23. Mar, 2009 by baggy in Mixes we didn't make
Today’s mix is kindly provided by Bretton Bird, one part of Pearl Flash.
The guys host a monthly party, every first Friday of the month at Old Blue Last, London. Their next installment is on Friday 3rd April where they have Jupiter playing for the very first time in the U.K after they support Metronomy in Paris on the 3rd.
Bretton:
This Mix is really a kinda homage to three books that have been sitting on my shelves for as long as I can remember:
1. Visions of The Future.
2. Encyclopedia of Science Fiction.
3. Dan Dare Pilot of The Future (Deluxe Collector’s Edition).
The mix is pretty different to our parties as I like to keep them light, free and a bit more up-tempo but defiantly influenced by what we (Pearl Flash) play.

Very nice list of mixes. I want to come up with my very own list soon. Any recommendations on the resources?

Wow. Like a perfect soundtrack to L’isola del tesoro (the space age version of “Treasure Island”) and other Margheriti’s space operas!

This is a keeper. Such a killer mesh and very original. I like it when I can here a mix that blows me away and introduces me to a mainly new to me set of tracks. This stays on the ipod for the headphones
