Cosmic Disco Presents… Love in C-Minor

Cosmic Disco Presents… Love in C-Minor

We finally set up our stall at Manchester’s Deaf Institute on Friday 17th October with Germany’s POLLYester (LIVE), DJ Mooner (Compost/Elaste Slow Motion Disco) & DJ Kaput (Rocktronik) in addition to support from your very own Cosmic Disco residents.

With influences taken from Italo, Punk & Disco, POLLYester are the bastard love child of The Sparks and ESG. Hailing from Munich the group are at the forefront of Germany’s Alt-Art Rock scene and are the in-house band at Munich’s infamous ‘Zombocombo’ parties. POLLYester craft slow burning cosmic chuggers alongside crescendo building Punk-Funk with onstage performance art for a mind-bending live experience that has been captured in the studio on their debut LP on the strictly limited countdown label – Love In C-Minor. DJ Mooner is not only the founder of Love In C-Minor but is also responsible for Erkrankung Durch Musique Records, has had a European chart smash with Zombie Nation, curated the Elaste: Slow Motion Disco series for Compost Records, is the promoter of Zombocombo and is also an established DJ/Producer having remixed the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Martin Peter & POLLYester.

Taking place in the sumptuous surroundings of the Deaf Institute’s domed Music Hall, the venue comes complete with high end sound system where you can expect every luxury from a seated auditorium and mezzanine level for unrestricted views of the stage, fantastic projected visuals, full lighting rig including a MASSIVE mirror ball and large dance floor. The room even features it’s own fully covered smoking terrace! If all this wasn’t enough you can sample some of the finest import beers and indulge yourself by choosing from the extensive cocktail menu on offer.
