This weeks guest mix comes courtesy of NYC resident – Jacques Renault.

After working as a buyer at Chicago’s legendary Gramaphone Records, Jacques exposure to house music led him back to searching out classic disco and relocating himself to it’s spiritual home – New York City.

Voted ‘Best NYC DJ’ by Papers Night Life Awards, Jacques has held residencies at NYC’s Happy Endings, Tribeca Grand, 205 Tuesdays and is responsible for pushing the disco sound into the new dance-punk scene.

Having released his own material on such labels as Italians Do It Better, Edition’s Disco, Wurst Edits, Chinatown and the internet label RCRD his tracks have also been featured on The Glimmers Eskimo mix, Lindstrom & Prins Thomas Radio 1 Essential Mix, appears regularly on Tim Sweeney’s ‘Beats in Space’ as well as contributing a weekly show ‘Runaway Disco‘ to VIVA radio.
