Pirate Robot Midgets - It’s my beat now

Pirate Robot Midget, an Italian French electro rock outfit based in the heart of trendy Amsterdam is the latest signing to hotly tipped new label, Hell Yeah Recordings. Bred on a steady diet of distorted basslines and twisted punk rock riffs, the boys have finally created a sound distinctively their own. Drawing inspiration from the city, the lifestyle, the chaos from cramped studios to sweaty clubs, PRM’s hi octane live sets are rough, sweaty and noisy…like a garbage disintegrator singing northern soul!

Crash landing into club sets around Europe, PRM made their mark with a killer, astonishing remix of Nine Inch Nails “My Violent Heart” and the rest as they say is history. Already a firm favourite among the tastemaker bloggers and the online set, the hardest working men in dance music continue to churn out club banger after banger. Earning accolades on the remixing front, PRM continue to work with the trendsetters of the indie-dance crossover scene.

With highly anticipated forthcoming PRM remixes for Teenage bad Girl, Baster Beez and Ninfa, Hell Yeah Recordings is proud to introduce this limited EP from one of the most hyped bands around.

“It’s My Beat Now!” features Stateside rapper Grand Agent on vocals for a genre defying hip-noise tune about sampling, hits and B Boy courts. On the flipside, “Sacrum” and “So Undead” is a testament to why PRM’s sound is on demand worldwide: solid rocking kick ass beats!

This package comes with two tasty remixes of “It’s My Beat Now!”, one from electro-minimal wonder Riva Starr (Dirtybird, Frontroom, Kindisch) who delivers a jacking, freaky version for the fidget house massive and man of the moment Dyno (Mantra Vibes) who adds his stomping techno flavour against Grand Agent vocals: this is a sick-beat!

Hotly tipped Italian contemporary artist and all round trendsetter, Neverending, also known as The Boghe lends his cutting edge, futuristic portraits to PRM’s cover art. Based in Amsterdam, Neverending (real name, Rocco) is one half of the creative duo, Two Things.
