POLLYester – You Are Amen. ROTW!

Managed by Cosmic Disco favourite DJ Mooner (Elaste Vol.1/Compost – Check out his Cosmic Disco exclusive mixes in the ‘Mixes We Didn’t Make’ section!) POLLYester are the bastard love-child of The Sparks and ESG.

Polly Ester, Yossarian and Benni Kaput combine to release the debut single on Mooner and Polly’s new label – Love In C Minor, named after no other than Cerrone, of course!

‘You Are Amen’ is a stunning piece of slo-mo-cosmic-disco featuring the trademark POLLYester live drums, keyboards and euro styled vocals and has been getting heavy rotation on the Cosmic Disco playlist over the last few months.

Mooner takes control of the flip for his ‘Dompteur Mooner Mix’ making for a more upbeat Detroit house dub version whilst ‘Erectric Guitar’ is choppy disco not disco at it’s quirky best.

An essential 12″ single, we’ve had a copy of the full POLLYester album at Cosmic HQ for some time and can report that it’s jammed full of brilliant tracks in the style that can be found on this initial release. ROTW at Manchester’s finest record emporium and online music specialists – Piccadilly Records, get your hands on a copy quick as it’s on a limited run of 500, each record individually numbered.

Cosmic Disco are pleased to announce that we will be bringing POLLYester (Live) and Mooner (DJ Support) to Manchester on October 17th as part of thier UK tour so keep peeled to the site for more details nearer the date.
