Hailing from yes, you’ve guessed it – ITALIA! and clocking in at a mere 26 years of age, Fabrizio Mammarella has released some of the finest Nu-Disco records of the last couple of years including the Cosmic Disco favourite Allunaggio (We like to play it at 33rpm+8).
Not only has Fabrizio released some amazing music of his own making on the pioneering Bear Funk and Hairy Claw labels but is also a prolific and talented remixer, stepping up to the plate to add his distinctive touches to such projects as Confused Disco: A Retrospective of Italian Records, Turbo Crystal and the Sweatalic EP in addition to pouring his skills over output from Arturo Capone, Michoacan, Piston Fiston (Steve Kotey and The Emporer Machine) as well having his tracks featured on the acclaimed Fabric Mix Series (‘Tear Up’ as featured on Fabric 23, Mixed by Ivan Smagghe).
Fabrizio kindly agreed to provide Cosmic Disco readers with a mix of what can only be described as dance floor perfection, whipping up a sublime selection of Modern Disco, Boogie, Dance Rock and Disco Not Disco.
This mix blew our socks off on the first listen. In just over an hour the music speaks volumes about the guy who has put it together giving evidence (If any more is already needed?) that this guy has it ALL – Top quality DJ and Remixer as well as stand out artist in his own right.
With a musical maturity way beyond his 26 years we can be grateful that Fabrizio will no doubt be releasing some of the most anticipated dance music for years to come…
Thanks again Fab!
