TJ Gorton’s Cosmic Jungle Love Mix
This week’s guest mix comes from the Pacific Northwest’s - TJ Gorton.
TJ is responsible for the fantastic music blog American Athlete as well as being a regular contributer to the Line Out site. TJ also finds time in his busy schedule to produce his own music as Future Force creating deep cosmic vibes with Noah Clark as well as releasing solo output on Beat Freeze Records such as the Cosmic Disco favourite ‘Jane Fonda‘.
Check out TJ’s latest release ‘Club Cubana’ available from all good online record dealers.
Until next week, have a great X-Mas. We’ve got a Trus’me exclusive mix which will be available in the gap before NYE so make sure you hit us back once you’ve slept off your turkey dinner!

Swine! I asked Trus’me for an exclusive mix for Yer Mam! ages ago. He said he’d do it and then didn’t deliver. Tried pushing him on it too and he never got back. Oh well, looking forward to it anyway.

I got it by chance more than anything else James.
I’m good a good pal of his manager who passed it on to me for the site. (On Prime Numbers) The mix is the live recording from his Manchester album launch at The Northern (With Moodymann) from the 2nd December.
Have a good Xmas James. If you wanna pop into Trof on NYE, drop me an email and i’ll put you on the door…

You have a good one too, fella. And you too, Niles. Unfortunately, I can’t make it down on NYE as I’m DJing at a mate’s house party. It’s fancy dress so I’ll be there as Clyde Barrow, flinging out the “thinking man’s party tunes” as I told my mate when he asked what I’d be playing.
Hope it’s a corker though. I was looking for you guys at Nado last night (first time I’d been in ages). Shame you weren’t there, it was a good ‘un.

Dear Mr. James Gorton.
I visit your website most days.
I enjoy your taste and skill at writing about disco music. You show you love what you do, and that is a gift to many of us, disco and funk music lovers.
I ran into your site about a year ago, and I just wanted to thank you for so much music you put out there, I treasure your site as an authority of disco and funk music.
besides you are quite a handsome man… yes I am a gay guy, so there…
I just wanted to say thank you, and great job!!
