Makin Music: Show 64 feat. El Diablo’s Social Club
It’s the 1st show of our new weekly slot on Sunday afternoon’s and we brought down the promoters/DJ’s from Manchester’s best monthly club night - El Diablo’s Social Club for a chat and to play a few records.
If you’re anywhere in or around the North West next Saturday 1st December then make sure you get yourself down to Mo-Ho Live where Reverso 68 and Rejekts will be guesting at El Diablo’s for the launch night at their new home.
In addition to the recent confirmation of excellent guest mixes we have coming your way soon we are delighted to announce that we have just finished interviewing no other than legend of the keys Wally Badarou where he has also agreed to provide us with a guest mix - Can’t wait for that one!
Below is the track listing for this week’s show and keep hitting us back for more developments in the world of Cosmic Disco…(Apologies for the slightly dodgy sound quality.)

The African Suite album is a superb reissue. Makes you wonder how much material like this is out there from this period.

I have enjoyed the last couple of Antibalas albums, but I think with this latest one, they has really found their groove.
Best one so far.

My original 7 of Hot Chocolate “Heaven is …” Has a fine split from the outer edge to the central hole. Its makes a fine click on each revolution.
Does this make it cosmic ?

No, this makes it skip worthy.
I imagine you could pick another copy up for about a quid at any reputable car-boot.
