Space Race Volume 7
A profound consequence of Einstein’s special theory of reletivity is that no material object can travel as fast as light.
It is forbidden.
There is a commandment: Thou shalt not travel at the speed of light, and there is nothing we can do to travel that fast.
Originally entitled ‘Indian Summer’ and created for the Kumo Music website this mix has been gathering dust in the vaults from mid-June but James Kumo has been understandably otherwise engaged as he has had far more important matters to attend to by taking care of his family after the birth of his first child - Congratulations James and family!
After becoming the soundtrack to recent lazy Sunday afternoon lie-ins, I’ve grown quite accustomed to this mix so I promptly pinched it back and decided to use it as the next installment in the Space Race series.
Keeping things strictly downbeat, this mix features the tried and tested method of mixing the old with the new. (Well, new in June 07 anyway…)
Maybe this one should have been entitled ‘Indian-Giver’.
