We Are One - Cosmic Disco Birthday Blowout

Unity Radio

365 days, 12 months, 52 weeks. Whichever way you look at it we’ve managed to make it a year without being thrown out of the studio, kicked off the internet or interogated by the Grime Scene Investigation crew.

Myself and Baggy have been assisted in that time by our sometime co-hosts Quoonbeatz and Pete Masters and we’ve also enjoyed the company of some sterling guests like Sam Pepper, James Marton, Jon Gregory, Moonboots, Jason Boardman and even THP.

In fact, such is the feeling of celebration here at cosmic towers that the great man himself is going to come down to the studio tonight and play some tracks on the show.

THP is the guy that makes the good ship CosmicDisco run though and thanks to him for steering her through the internet and thanks to Baggy for arguing/talking/educting me every week on the radio.

To celebrate our belated birthday (we think it actually occured about 4 weeks ago but being cosmic we’re not getting bogged down with stuff like dates) we are going to play our favourite tracks that have featured on the show and on the site in the last year.

Here are a few of the tracks that we’ll be spinning tonight…

  • Gary’s Gang - Makin’ Music (Dub)
  • Heatwave - Mind What You Find
  • The Bombers - Shake
  • Heatwave - Star of a Story
  • Uffie - Ready to Uff
  • League Unlimited Orchestra - Things that Dreams are made of
  • The Section - Street Pizza
  • Darkel - Earth
  • Lee Ritenour - Caterpillar
  • Sun - Dance
  • Revvo - Nimmo
  • Unknown - You know how to love me
  • Kano - I need love
  • Boytronic - Bryllyant
  • Arial - Sea of Beats
  • Bakazou - Snake Hip Shuffle
  • Cherylyn - Set Me Off
  • Baldelli - Girotondo
  • Guaranteed Raw - Make You Sweat
  • Dharma - Plastic Doll

Without doubt one of the best podcast show’s I’ve stumbled across……although the uncle fester element was uncomfortably funny. Keep it cosmic!
