Cosmic Disco Puts It’s ‘Best Foot Forward’

That’s right…

Friends and fellow Mancunian musical misfits - Best Foot Foward have decided to shake things up a little this summer by inviting Cosmic Disco space cadets THP, Niles and Baggy to guest alongside BFF residents on Saturday 21st July at Bar Common, 39-41 Edge Street, Northern Quarter, Manchester.

Best Foot Forward have brought some amazing guest DJ’s such as Quiet Village, Phil Mison, Steve Kotey, Balearic Mike, Moonboots and even persuaded members of A Mountain of One to play at their weekly hoe-down so we are extremely honoured to join this illustrious list and play some funked out, intergallactic sounds to one of the nicest crowds in Manchester.

Now then, if your out ‘n’ about Manchester’s Northern Quarter on Saturday 21st between the hours of 9pm and 2am there’s no better place to down a few scoops and join us (And in BBF’s own words…) as we take a carefree wander off the beaten track. We’re gonna be positoned next to the window so anyone we recognise who passes by without dropping in and shouting requests (Balearic!) - There’ll be murders!

Best Foot Foward will be inviting special guests to Common every 3rd Saturday of the month so keep posted to their blog or MySpace for up to date information on who’s up next. If you’ve yet had the chance to pop in and say hello to the boys make sure you do. At only £2 door tax (Free for members) you can hear some of the most eclectic sounds spun by 2 of Manchester’s most talented resident selectors in Kevin ‘Wolfy’ Maguire and Mark ‘Schoolsy’ Scholes.

With ace musical selection, a proper choice of tasty import beers, great location and friendly crowd, Best Foot Forward gets the Cosmic Disco ‘thumbs up’ fo’sure.
